Aloe Vera is one of the famous plants. It doesn't require any specific climate or weather, we can grow it any where easily. It can also be grown in plant pots at home. It's ingredients are used not only externally but also they are also added in different medicines, which can be used internally.
Aloe Vera leaves are filled with jel. We can get it very  easily.After washing the leaves with water, take a knife and cut it from the base, now take out the transparent gel from the leaves.

The benefits of Aloe Vera are as follows
  • Its juice is strongly anti-constipation.
  • It can work wonderfully to lose weight,it fastens the metabolism and thus burn the calories.
  • Its gel can work as an antiseptic.
  • The juice can also work as a blood purifier.

Aloe Vera has some drawbacks as well.It can cause diarrhea and it can be harmful for pregnant women.Some times rashes appear on the skin after its usage. In this case you should stop using it. You can prepare Aloe Vera oil at home with this simple recipe.
Cut the Aloe Vera leaves in small pieces. Take some vegetable oil in a jar and dip those leaves in it for sixty days. After that stain them and store the oil in a dark bottle.

Face packs of Aloe Vera

We can make different face packs with Aloe Vera gel. It gives a glow and refreshes the skin.
  • Mix the gel with the lemon juice and apply it on the face. Keep it for ten minutes and then wash it off.This mask can be used to whitens the skin.
  • You can  apply the gel on the face and wash it off with cold water after ten minutes.It will give a glow to your skin.
  • Take one tea spoon of honey, add a pinch of turmeric powder, few drops of milk, few drops of rose water and blend it well, add some Aloe Vera gel in whole mixture and blend it till it become paste, apply it on the face and rinse it off after ten to fifteen minutes.You will feel your skin soft and healthy after that.
  • To get rid of dry skin, add crushed almonds in Aloe Vera gel and mix it well. Apply it on the face and wash it off after ten to fifteen minutes.
  • To get soft and silky skin, take one teaspoon of crushed almonds, one teaspoon of powder milk, one teaspoon of aloe gel and one teaspoon of honey, now mix them well and apply it on the face for ten to fifteen minutes and then wash it off.

Stay Slim Forever

One of the most depressing things about a diet is that as soon as you have taken off the weight, you gain it right back.During a diet we don't have to control only diet but we also have to change our mental attitude.
Mental attitude is directly related to appearance. When a person is fat, he hate himself,become unhappy and eat to make himself better. So to breakout this destructive cycle he must adopt a new mental attitude.
The very first step to losing weight is the acknowledgment that "You can do it".When you get up in the morning look up into the mirror and say, "Today I'm going to do better". Positive suggestion would wipe out the negativity in your subconscious.
All day you face the decisions about food.For example, after a few hours of dinner,  due to loneliness and boredom you may want to eat something.Before going to the refrigerator, stop a moment and ask yourself that do you really want this piece of cake.You must control yourself this time.
End your day with some comforting words before starting to exercise in evening. You must say yourself that weight is not going to come off over night, but eventually it will. "Tomorrow will be a better day."
Reinforce the love and respect for yourself.
You need to eat the proper balance diet. Food has been broken into four major groups: Protein,
vegetables/fruits ,milk and bread/cereal.You must take a balance amount of food from every major group.By paying attention, keeping tuned into what you are eating , and adjusting your appetite to your body's needs, you can find the perfect balance of your body.
You must also take care of timings before having a food. The later in the day you eat, the lighter you must eat. You can take heavier foods during day time because you have a chance to burn high calories.Don't buy fattening foods and always fill your fridge with vegetables like radish, carrots or cauliflower. Put some grapes in your freezer and whenever you have an urge to eat something cold and sweet ,pop in a frozen grape. You will love its sweet , refreshing sensation.
Now come to exercise, some people think that exercise is bore. But heavy hips, bulging thighs and gigantic waistlines are not  exciting alternates.
Everyone must begins with breathing exercise. First turn on some music.The music makes exercise an enjoyable activity.
Deep breathing
For deep breathing, stand up straight, shoulders back, neck tall and feet apart.Inhale through the  nose and exhale through the mouth. You are expanding your lungs and getting your heart started.
Arm Circles
With legs together and chin up, extend both arms ,tighten them and flattens the palms of your hands.Begin rotating arms clock wise and counter clockwise, first do small circles then make them bigger. During this process, inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Mini Situps
Lie down on the floor. Bend your knees and spread your feet . Rest your hands at the base of your thighs, Inhale, with your back and head flat on the floor.Exhale while you slowly glide your hands all the way up to your knee caps.Keep your chin tucked into your chest. Inhale as you go down.
Mini Pushups
Get down on all fours, with your feet up , knees, hands and feet spread about two feet apart. Make sure your head,neck, back and bottom are on the same angle.This position releases any pressure from your back. Your arm and your chest will be doing all the work.
Inhale in the up position and exhale when you slowly lower your body. Inhale and come up until your elbows are straight again.
Tootsie Rolls
Sit up straight, legs together tight, and extend your arms out.Now all you have to do is lift up your rear, one side at a time, and rock from side to side.Inhale while lifting the right side and exhale while lifting the left side.Remember to lock those legs, lift your rear as high as you can, and make sure your stomach is held in.
These simple stretches have activated your whole body. When you begin your morning with this ritually you'll be in total control.
 Mental attitude, control of diet and exercise, all will work  together.Do not give up and don't ignore. You must also understand that you will be exercising for the rest of your life.You are never finished taking care of yourself, and that's as it should be.

Common makeup mistakes

Makeup is one of main requirement in modern time. Women feel themselves incomplete without makeup. No doubt make up is an art . You can look attractive if you have applied the makeup in an expert way , on the other hand you look awful if you ignore your complexion, type of skin, face features, dress, demand of occasion before applying it.
As we choose colors and dresses according to the weather,we must also choose our makeup colors by watching the weather conditions. Here i am mentioning some of the common mistakes women make while having a make over.

1- Cleansing and Moisturizing
Have you noticed white or oily spots on your face after using foundation and face powder, the main reason behind this is, you are not paying attention on regular cleansing and moisturising of your face.
Women should cleans their face for at least two times in a week with a quality cleanser.It would remove all the dirt from your face.
Usage of moisturizer is also very beneficial because it remove all the effect of dryness. PH balanced face wash also plays an important role for enhancing the skin freshness and natural glow.


2-Use concealer carefully

Every skin has some problems. There are few lucky women that have no such problems.Women want to hide the scars or blemishes with the help of dark makeup that can be harmful.
The better solution for this is usage of concealer. Before choosing a concealer you must check its color.You must pay attention if  it is matching your skin tone or not.Use your finger to spread it on the spot. Use a mirror while you do this.

3- Overuse of glitter in your makeup

If you use an excessive amount of glitter in your makeup, that would give a bad effect on your personality. It will not only snatch the freshness of your skin but also it will give you a weird look. Always use it in a balanced amount.

4- Golden and Silver shades both at a time

Usage of golden and silver shades both at a time can never give a decent and natural look to your makeup. Always use one of those at one time, silver shade enhances the beauty of fair skin where as the golden shade refreshes your wheat complexion.

5-Lipstick and Lip liner

Lipstick is the main part of makeup. Use lip liners of neutral shade and merge it with lipstick.

Most of all if you are going on a party, dont apply makeup in hurry. Always take time and give proper attention for this task.Remove the makeup well before going to sleep.

Many of us spend a large time of our day in front of desk in our offices.In this situation its difficult to get some time to involve in a physical activity or an exercise,  and according to the research its harmful to sit at one place for most of the time. That's why the doctors suggest that if you get a phone call , stand up of your seat and talk to him. You can also walk around your room while talking on your cell phone.Change of position is necessary. It also increase your productivity at work.
 Take care of your sitting posture, do some stretching in free time, drink a plenty of water, take deep breaths and keep moving yourself.And if you are working on a computer most of time , choose an LCD or LED , so that your eyes don't  get tired.
Active desk is another good option for working out on an office chair. Actually it is a bike for exercise, it can be merge with desk. You can 'somehow' burn your calories.
Its inventor Martin who is the associate professor of an American University said that the people who use active desk can burn 300 to 800 calories per day with moderate paddling, it has also a sliding tray that can support your elbows, you can work on a computer easily.

Helping Children How To Express their Emotions

Every one likes smiling, cheerful and happy kids but its a fact that they experience different feelings like elders do. One of them is anger. Its the difficult stage for them when they are unable to express their emotions of anger or frustration when they want to. Because the parents count it in disrespect and do not let the kid to behave weirdly. At the result the kid becomes non cooperative.
The mother can realize this kind of situation of her kids very well. Because at this stage the kid show some significant changes in his/her mood, gestures and routine. Like delaying in home work, throwing things here and there or try to irritate others.You must know there is something wrong with your child.

Now here your kid needs your guidance. Guide him to express the emotions nicely and respectfully instead of being aggressive. The parents should listen carefully what the kid want to say. Let him explain. Do not try to interrupt him.After he completes ,solve his problem or convince him with reasons.
 To train your kids, to express their emotions appropriately is very necessary for their confidence when they step in their practical life. It can impact children’s social development.It can also prevent them from many worries .

Nail Biting

Nail biting is a nervous habitual gesture , the most common and addictive childhood habit. Its cause can be high level of anxiety and stress

We can stop our kids by nail biting in various ways like:
  • Provide activities where hands are occupied.
  • Avoid scolding, punishing or shaming.
  • Allow favorite activities only when the hands are out of mouth.
  • Telling them stories to make them learn that nail biting is a bad habit
  • Appreciate the kid, when he /she displays self-control and does not nail-bite.
  • Try to remove the tensions, that are responsible for this habit.
  • Cover the hands with gloves.
  • Nail biting solution can also be applied on nails that has a bitter taste and can stop your kid by nail-biting. 
  • Tell the kids that  nail biting can affect one’s social life. Deformed, red, and swollen fingertips are unappealing and may cause friends or family to shrink back and withdraw from bodily contact.

Face cleansing at home

Regular cleansing plays an important role to make your skin beautiful. Quality of a good cleanser is to not only cleans your skin but also provide your skin the essential moisture.
Working women have to wear light makeup daily. So if they wouldn't pay attention to remove their make up thoroughly on daily basis, the skin will get effected. That's why they should take some time out for cleansing before sleeping.Applying any moisturizer after the process of cleansing is also beneficial.
Some ladies cannot afford to buy a cleanser or they may experience any type of allergy by those available in market, they can use home made cleanser. Just add 2 to 3 drops of lemon in raw milk or cream and you have an effective, affordable, natural and excellent cleanser at home.
Some more home made cleansers are as follows

  1.  Use cucumber slices, rub the slice on your face in circular motion. Wash off after fifteen minutes.
  2. For oily skin, you can mix one tbsp of baking soda with the lemon juice, make a fine paste and then  gently scrub over your face. Rinse it off after ten to fifteen minutes.
  3. Take chickpea powder, add some raw milk in it to make a paste . Now apply it over your face and neck. Wash off after ten minutes. Its an excellent cleanser for oily skin.
  4. Take orange peel powder add some milk in it .Mix to make a fine paste. It is very helpful for skin whitening too.
  5. For dry skin you can use any oil as a cleanser like olive oil or almond oil or castor oil/
  6. Use rose water as cleanser
  7. Make a paste of almond oil, honey and milk. Use it as cleanser for dry skin
  8. Take two spoons of corn flour, add one spoon of tomato juice in it and two teaspoons of glycerine.Scrub it on face and neck , Wash off after ten minutes.
  9. Use pineapple juice as a cleanser.
  10. Make a mixture of lemon juice, glycerine and rose water. you can use it as cleanser.
